Tim Selgo is one of the most accomplished Athletics Directors in the history of Division II collegiate athletics, having won a total of 19 National Championships and 173 Conference Championships in 20 years at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. The Director’s Cup, given to the best all-around athletics program in the country, has been handed to Tim Selgo a total of 11 times, including 8 straight (03-04 to 10-11). Selgo has now written his first book, Anchor Up: Competitive Greatness The Grand Valley Way, which give the steps he and his team took in order build, maintain, and lead one of the biggest athletic powerhouses in all of college athletics at GVSU. Selgo gives any and everyone the tools to be a successful leader no matter what profession they are in through his three fundamentals for success and five leadership steps, all with the goal to achieve competitive greatness.

Now retired from his AD position at GVSU, Selgo is an adjunct professor at Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and a consultant with Athletics Staffing & Consultants.
