Trio of Michigan Barnes & Noble book signings scheduled with Ray Bentley in July

Author of Driftwood, former NFL linebacker, and West Michigan native Ray Bentley will be signing copies of his debut novel, Driftwood, at three different Barnes & Noble locations in the middle of July.. He will be at the Lansing Mall Store from 5 to 7 PM on Thursday July 14th, the Barnes & Noble in Muskegon on Friday, July 15th from 6 to 9 PM, and the Barnes & Noble location in Holland on Sunday, July 17 from 12 to 2 PM.

“I truly enjoy coming back to West Michigan to see old friends and make new ones and also to share my book with them. The West side of the state, those people know their football. I look forward to talking and meeting with them all,” said Bentley when asked about the mini-tour.

“Now that it’s getting closer to football season Driftwood is the perfect primer to get you ready for the coming fall action, drama and, hopefully, victory. Start the season off with a win and get your copy of Driftwood.” – Five Count Publishing

Driftwood, his first novel released in August of 2015, is about a 17-year veteran linebacker of the North American Football Association (NAFA), Jack Driftwood. Driftwood and the Buffalo Blizzard have been at the bottom of the league since his rookie year, where they played and lost in Mega Bowl 33. Things are looking up this year, though, as GM Donald Fegel has built a championship contender. Though he and Driftwood don’t always see eye to eye, they both want one thing: A Mega Bowl victory for the city of Buffalo.

“…This novel is nevertheless a winner: a fun, breezy read that even lukewarm football fans might cheer. “ - Kirkus Reviews
