Bentley, a key member of the Bills' Super Bowl squads in 1990 & 1991, released his first novel, Driftwood, this past August after previously writing and publishing seven different children's books. Other sports memorabilia will also be available at the show for purchase and signing including Ray’s Football Trading cards, 8x10 photos, mini-helmets, and footballs.
Driftwood is the story of Buffalo Blizzard Linebacker, Jack Driftwood, and his last chance at pro football glory. The narrative follows the grizzled, old linebacker from training camp through Mega Bowl 50 played in Buffalo and gives an inside look at the machinations of professional football on the field and in the locker room. Off the field Driftwood’s eclectic collection of friends help him escape and bring the truth to light when the Blizzard’s General Manager plays rough in his efforts to steal the team and send Jack packing.
About the Tyler DeMarco Foundation
Our Mission is motivated by the love, compassion, and determination Tyler demonstrated in his desire to help other children who are fighting for their lives! Tyler battled four years to win the fight against Medulloblastoma and was determined to beat his odds and achieve these selfless goals. Sadly, Tyler’s cancer ended his life and his wishful desire.
Tyler DeMarco Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) Tax-Exempt Nonprofit Organization managed and operated by a committed Board of Directors. We are strictly an all-volunteer organization; no one receives compensation. All monies raised and received go into the goals defined by our Mission.
We will continue Tyler’s Fight against Childhood Cancer while honoring his legacy and endearing spirit of love, compassion and determination. We will also forever be inspired by the way Tyler chose to live his life and encouraged by his words of wisdom to persevere…
